Are you good with tools? Do your friends often ask you for advice? Do you enjoy building, maintaining, and fixing things? OR can you hand out forms and tell people where to go? Do you want to meet other cool people around Waltham?
Are you good with tools? Do your friends often ask you for advice? Do you enjoy building, maintaining, and fixing things? OR can you hand out forms and tell people where to go? Do you want to meet other cool people around Waltham?
If any of the above is true, please consider volunteering at an upcoming Waltham Repair Cafe event! It is a fun time, where you get to help people and put a smile on their faces. Planning is underway for future events. We intend to hold an event every 3 months.

Meet the Organizers
Krys Petrie is an engineer, maker, crafter, and all-around repairer who has lived in Waltham since 2012. She founded the Waltham Repair Cafe in 2024, having previously volunteered at similar events in Melrose. Krys is excited to bring this wonderful event to Waltham, and is excited to restore, repair, and make new friends with all you lovely folks.
Katie Cohen is a knitter, gardener, cook, and voracious reader. In her day job, she works in Instructional Design and skill training. She will be focusing on forms, administration, and day-of activities for the Waltham Repair Cafe.
